Beijing Ancient Observatory is built in the year 1442, is one of the ancient observatory in the world. It is famous for its well-preserved complete building, exquisite astronomical instruments, and long history. 

Beijing Ancient Observatory There are eight astronomical instruments made in the Qing Dynasty on the observatory. With Chinese traditional exquisite engraving and western advanced technology, they are the historical witness of the culture exchange, and such ancient and complete set huge bronze astronomical are quite rare in the world. The observatory has been emptied inside, made for two-storied exhibition hall, showcasing equatorial armillary sphere, ecliptic armillary sphere, altitude and azimuth circle, quadrant instrument etc.
